Puri Nirwana is a private plantation style mansion enjoying absolute beach front in Cucukan, a small fishing village across the road from the Bali Safari and Marine Park. The main house is over 1.200 m2 with the spa and outbuildings adding another 500 m2. The property is surrounded by 5.000 m2 of manicured gardens and lawns with several water features including a reflection pond. Building layout has large entertaining areas, generous bedrooms, magnificent bathrooms, a vogue style Chefs’ kitchen, a banquet size dining room (seats 24), and sitting rooms, meet and greet areas.

Accommodation

Puri Nirwana can accommodate up to fourteen adults and eight children, with master bedroom in the main building, large private en-suites, and all with stunning garden or ocean outlook. The villa has been built to make the most of the cross ocean breezes and its spacious layout mean you may not come across another person for days. Bedroom wing bathrooms are a large six meter by three meter size, with ease of access for in-room SPA treatments.

The Master Suite of Puri Nirwana is the luxurious enormous suite on the ground floor with a massive bathroom which includes a separate SPA area, overlooking the magnificent lawn, swimming pool and ocean. Large louver doors can be open to allow the cool ocean breezes to wash over you as you relax, or sit in air conditioned comfort at your pleasure.

The bedroom wing is finished with marble inlaid floors, and imported stone from India and The Ukraine.

Puri Nirwana evokes calm and rejuvenation amidst an exotic and tranquil garden, trickling water features and fresh sea air. Each individual area has been designed to incorporate the beautiful grounds and ocean that surround it, bringing the outside indoors and fully complementing the combination of luxury, privacy and peace that the villa represents.

The formal entrance to the villa is lined with display cabinets filled with a collection of interesting curios and unique artwork. From the entrance guests proceed to the sitting room where they can chill and relax in comfortable lounges with floor to ceiling sliding doors opening onto the patio, manicured lawn, swimming pool and beach beyond. The breeze will flow through to the windows overlooking the orchids greenery and trickling water feature.

Adjacent to sitting room lays formal dining room with the stunning solid wood dining table that seats 24 with the room opening up to the patio, manicured lawn, pool and ocean. Next is the entertainment room that offers a spacious gaming area with full sized billiard table, massive flat screen LCD TV, extensive collection of DVDs and book library to entertain the child in all of us.

French doors of the games room lead to a culinary aficionado’s dream, the kitchen. It is fully equipped with the latest in dual gas ovens, hot plates, glass store room, room length exhaust system and twin state of the art refrigerators. Cook up a storm or allow us to offer you a selection of local chef’s on the island, depending on your taste and craving.

Perfectly situated in corners of the garden and villa are private getaway lounges where you can spend some quality time with that special person: yourself.

There is a plenty of space in 5.000 m2 garden that surrounds the main building. Outdoor facilities include dedicated children activity area and two of fish ponds with exotic Koi fish, Catfish and tortoises. The beautiful Buddha overlooks the Reflection Pool while the trickling flow of the water feature gives you a perfect focus for meditation and relaxation.

Melt into the cushioned chaise lounge in the poolside Bale, read a book or be hypnotized by the ocean, or have evening cocktails or dinner at the table that seats ten under the vine covered trellis, and the Bali night sky. Manicured lawns lead to the 16 x 5 metre beachside swimming pool and adjoining Jacuzzi. Float in the pool while watching the wave’s crash on the sand, or simply lie on the outdoor sun beds or bean bags and read your favorite book in the shade of staring into the sky coconut trees.

Located amidst the tropical gardens, there is a 200 year old Javanese house with original, intricately carved wooden walls and ceiling is a spectacular setting for your own personal heavenly SPA treatments. Up to four full time therapists, fully trained and accredited, are on standby up to twelve hours per day to pamper and soothe your body, while you’re spirit drifts away in bliss.

Villa Gita is located on Jl.Raya Candidasa in the heart of the delightful seaside village of Candidasa. It is just over an hour´s drive from Bali International Airport when traffic conditions are good, 15 minutes from the ferry port at Padang Bai, half an hour from the Taman Safari Park, and about 40 minutes from Ubud.

The contemporary-styled villa comprises three single-storey buildings at ground level. The architecture combines contemporary elements with traditional Balinese features. The villa, with open plan living/dining areas is characterized by an abundance of space and light, elegance and graceful simplicity. The master suite, Abhimanyu, located in the center of the villa and opens out to the living/dining area through an elegant walkway edged with lotus and melati ponds that are also home to sparkling goldfish. The suite to the right (facing the ocean) is the Arjuna Suite and to the left is the Draupadi Suite. The Arjuna and Draupadi suites have porticos that afford lovely views of the ocean and are ideal for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

All three bedroom suites are spacious, well-lit, fully air-conditioned, with king-sized beds. They are furnished with an armchair, elegant side tables, and table lamps. Each bedroom suite is equipped with flat-screen TV and DVD player. Wireless internet is available (at a charge) throughout the villa. The Master Suite Abhimanyu is also equipped with cable TV and comes with an additional desk and chair. All bedrooms have gleaming timber floors, and are equipped with safe deposit boxes. Rollaway beds are also available on request. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available on-site. All suites are tastefully furnished with subtle and elegant artwork.

Each suite has a dressing area with a walk in wardrobe with ample storage space and drawers. Sliding glass doors in each bedroom provide direct access to the living/dining area, which is positioned centrally between the three suites. All the en-suite bathrooms are fashioned in cream palimanan stone and beige marble with oversize terrazzo bathtubs and well-lit double vanity units complete with wall mirrors and twin washbasins. Toilets and raindrop showers are positioned in separate cubicles. Every bathroom has luxury toiletries from Spafactory and Sensatia.

Villa Gita is situated in the heart of the seaside village of Candidasa with access through a private driveway off the main road of Jl. Raya Candidasa. This beautiful area is set well away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism in the island’s magnificent eastern regency of Karangasem. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the villa. Prestigious neighbours include two of the best resorts in Bali, Amankila and Alila Manggis.

Villa Gita is just over an hour´s drive from Bali´s International Airport when traffic conditions are good, 15 minutes from the ferry port at Padang Bai, half an hour from the Taman Safari Park, and about 40 minutes from Ubud.

Directions: From Ngurah Rai international airport, Denpasar, take the Ngurah Rai bypass highway towards Padangbai, Candi Dasa and Amlapura. Villa Gita is in the center of Candi Dasa just off the highway. After you enter Candi Dasa, you will pass restaurants and shops on both sides of the highway and you will see a large lotus pond on your right. Continue on the highway for 200 meters past the lotus pond and take the very first right turn off the highway after the lotus pond. You will see a road sign for Villa Gita at the turnoff. Immediately after taking the right turn, turn right again into a gate which has board saying “Orion Bay Villas”. Villa Gita is the villa directly in front of you.

The main building is impressive, towering over the compound with large wooden Javanese style entrance. A large screen TV with high class sound system make this living area complete. This is the center of the life of the villa. A sleek wooden stair adjacent to the dining area leads to the upper floor which consists of an open air mezzanine with alluring view to the surrounding greenery. Further, a small ‘bridge’ is connecting this area to a comfortable library studio.

The four bedrooms (all DBL beds) are set in two different buildings, two bedrooms are on the left and the other two bedrooms are on the right side of the compound. Ground & Pool

The lush outdoor space is featuring minimalist garden decorated with an antique wooden boat on its middle, divides the left and right wing of the property. A ‘T’ shaped pool (18 X 6 meters), with creamy palimanan stone, dominates the east part of the ground. Being a children friendly villa, a small shallow part of the pool is specially prepared for children. Pool chairs are provided on the wooden deck to relax on.

The very end of the ground is still riched with tall trees and is fringed with a small lower lawn suitable for BBQ or outdoor dining.

Villa Kita is supported by a carefully selected team of highly trained, friendly staff who will do their best to ensure that their guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali. The team is headed by a villa manager who will oversee and coordinate the staff and property, and is available to assist guests during their stay. The team also includes a cook, 3 housekeepers, a gardener/pool attendant and security guards. Immersed in a rich history and set on spacious grounds surrounded by outstanding Balinese paintings, stone carvings and wall murals, Villa Batujimbar is a historic inspiration. Sri Lankan Geoffrey Bawa, an internationally recognized prolific and influential architect helped bring Friend’s vision to life.

The overall concept was inspired by the nineteenth century palaces at Klungkung and Amlapura. In 1975, Bawa designed various additions to the house, including a large museum building to house Friend’s collection of Balinese artworks and artifacts as well as Friend’s own paintings. Made of Majapahit red brick and rectangular in shape, the museum is set formally in the center of the compound with a moat around it and a long pool in the front.

Following Friend’s departure from Bali, Adrian Zecha, the founder of the Aman resorts became the estate’s owner. Subsequently, Zecha’s in house designer, Ed Tuttle (designer of many award winning hotels) was called in to refurbish the estate. Tuttle’s renovation gave the estate a new organized look emphasizing clean lines and space.

The next owner, international entrepreneur Graeme Robertson faithfully restored the estate to capture lifestyle opulence with the addition of a tennis court, gym and an impressive collection of art for the museum. Dining Room

The dining room is located in a sheltered and very spacious open-air pavilion offering the most stunning green infinity views over Bali’s beauty. It has a funky bar and is directly connected to the very large and professional kitchen which can cater for all tastes. The antique dining table can easily have 12 people eating in comfort. There is more furniture available to cater for larger groups and the staff will not hesitate to organize the facilities in the same but bigger way. The dining room is separated by beautiful Balinese lotus ponds from the living room in the central pavilion.

Living Room

The main pavilion overlooking the rice terraces is a very spacious and covered pavilion open on all sides. It has an enormous lounging sofa and fantastic contemporary art. Constructed in traditional Balinese style this living room makes you relax and lounge. Drink a cocktail here and enjoy the spectacular, unobstructed infinity views over Bali. In front of this main pavilion you can also see Villa Infinity Bali’s 40 meter excelling pool. The present music sound installation offers a finishing touch. The living room is connected to the Master Suite Bedroom and the dining room by bridges over the beautiful Balinese lotus ponds.

Media Room

In between the Master Suite Bedroom and the two Luxurious Bedrooms situated closer to the river there is a fantastic air conditioned media room with cinema, lounge, pool table and games. So if you want to work on your computer while it feels to hot outside, watch a movie on a big screen with surround sound effects, have a drink and lounge or play a game of pool or other kind of games: this is the place to be.
